Welcome to My Website

In each new painting I draw from my previous works, my education, and a great deal from my personal experience of the natural world. The landscapes of the Midwest especially the Cuyahoga Valley have become the inspiration for much of my work. Art brings people together, and creativity opens hearts. Welcome to my website. Get an impression of my artwork and take it home with you.

Thank you for visiting!

Three Dogs and a Man
"Blue Hen Falls"

Once again I have entered the annual exhibition of miniature art sponsored by the Council for the Arts in Chambersburg PA. It is open to all artists living in the U.S. and the art must be no bigger than 4x6". My ACEO ( 2.5 x 3.5") "Blue Hen Falls" won an honorable mention award this year!

"The County Fair"

I am so proud to have won the Best of Show award at the 80th Annual Juried Exhibition of the Women's Art League of Akron 2013 show and at the 2014 Hudson Society of Artist's Annual Juried Show. The competition was stiff among both these talented groups of  artists and I'm honored to have won.

"The Gathering Storm"

I am so proud to say that this painting won Best of Show at the Woman's Art League Exhibit 2012.

My friend Mary Kay Haneline teaches art to children in her Hudson studio. She had the absolutely brilliant idea to invite some of her artsy friends to paint right on the table so the kids would have examples in front of them. I am lucky enough to be one of those friends!                                    And this was my contribution to the table. Mary Kay added the gold scroll work frame.
